Our Design Process

Our team of talented, creative designers looks forward to working with you to make your special day perfect!

Step 1

We'll begin by getting to know you and your dream vision! Let’s schedule a chat with one of our customer service specialists via phone call, email, zoom, or if you’re in town, an in-person meeting at our studio in Salt Lake City. From our initial conceptual design consultation, we'll be able to present a rough estimate of costs and a timeline.

Once we have an understanding of what you're looking for in your dream invitation suite, we'll begin drafting options based on our initial design consultation. Initial concepts are digitally presented within 7 to 10 business days from the signed contract and paid retainer.

Let’s make magic happen! We'll work together to refine the design details through up to eight rounds of edits, included in custom pricing. Beyond 8 proofs, additional design fees will occur so we do recommend that you group your thoughts, ideas and changes so that each proof can be a big step forward - rather than a name change here and time change there, etc.

Once the design has been approved, we can order supplies and production can begin! Production can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks. Assume additional time with specialty printing methods such as thermography, foil stamping, letterpress, and debossing; plus, any digital personalization or hand calligraphy, and assembly.

After production is complete, we'll carefully pack up your invitations for shipment or notify you to pick them up from our studio. If you decide to use us for assembly, we'll happily take care of delivering the invitations to the post office for you too!

A signed contract, completed event worksheet, and 50% non-refundable retainer is required to officially begin the design process. Spots are only secured with a signed contract and paid retainer.

Our average couple spends about $3,000 on a custom invitation suite with an average of 3 months from start to completion. If custom design is not right for you, we will soon be offering a semi-custom option in the near future.
